‘Camping’ Should Be Called ‘Cramping’ Because Of All The Cramps It Causes. I Will Not Back Down From This.

I generally think of myself as an open-minded person. When discussing a controversial issue, I always try to consider both sides of the argument and make an informed decision, while keeping in mind that the side I disagree with may still be raising some valid points. However, there is one issue that I refuse to compromise on: “Camping” should be called “cramping” because it causes me to get a lot of cramps. I will absolutely not back down from this.

Think about it: When I go camping, I have to sleep in a tiny tent that doesn’t give me enough room to fully stretch out while I’m sleeping, which causes my back to cramp up. Furthermore, the tight, tight sleeping bag forces me to curl my toes weird, which causes my feet to spasm endlessly. It is deeply disturbing to me that, even when faced with overwhelming evidence like this, there are still many who refuse to call camping “cramping.”

Honestly, this is a change that is long past due, and we simply must not wait any longer. I will not give a single inch on this. I cannot give a single inch on this.

Think about it: When I go camping, I have to sleep in a tiny tent that doesn’t give me enough room to fully stretch out while I’m sleeping…

I understand the struggle will not be easy. There will always be naysayers who will try to argue that “camping’ should always be called “camping.” They will subscribe to the backwards and hateful argument that if I cramp up in my tiny tent, then I should buy a bigger tent. But I refuse to rest until the word for “sleeping outside in a tent” accurately reflects the amount of cramps I suffer while doing that thing.

Because this isn’t one of those issues where it’s important to “listen to both sides.” This is a matter of right and wrong, and I will fight mercilessly and without concession until people all over the world can look their families in the eyes and say, “Hey, let’s all grab the tiny tent and the tight sleeping bag and go on a cramping trip.”

There are very few beliefs I would die for, but this is one of them. I would gladly lay down my life to ensure that my children grow up in a world where “camping” is referred to exclusively as “cramping” on account of how my back gets all knotted up in the tiny tent and also how my feet spasm all night long under the stars.

I cannot be reasoned with on this matter.
