As a musician, it’s not often I’m on a website. Usually I am rapping instead. However, when I get the hankering for a website, I will either visit my own or I’ll visit TheOnion.com for my weekly LOL. Neither website is very good, but “That’s okay,” I always thought… “Because websites are never very good.” Or so I thought.
Well, let’s just say that the other day I got an email with a hyperlink that led to a website called YouTube.com. And, friend, I had never before heard of YouTube.com, and boy am I glad I did, because if it’s websites you’re looking for, you’d be hard pressed to top YouTube.com!
Yup Yup Yeah!
Between movies, music, music videos, movies, and videos, YouTube.com has everything you could be looking for. It has all the movies you could ever watch, from long ones to short. Did you know that sometimes a movie is 3 hours with Brad Pitt and sometimes it’s just 35 seconds with some rat-faced kid swinging a rope instead? Well… Friend, it is true, and both are on YouTube.com!

Did you know that they even have videos of me (Drake) on YouTube.com? Probably there’s a video of everyone on YouTube.com and you might not even have been realizing that! Whether you want a video of yourself or of someone else (Drake), YouTube.com is the place!
But that’s not all. YouTube.com is not just for watching. It’s for reading (lyric movies), laughing, and what’s best of all is that it’s for Commenting/Typing! Did you know that there’s a whole community of people waiting to read your comments and types? Ok… I will put it this way. After watching a video of my favorite band Yo La Tengo performing my favorite song “Sugarcube,” I commented, “Awesome,” because it was awesome. And in just 11 hours my comment got 3 likes!

“This website is so amazing,” I say to myself while on YouTube.com… “I am already trying to make my own website more like it!”
Look… I will make it simple. If it’s doorknobs you want, go to Home Depot. If it’s cherries you want, go to the Grocery store. If it’s websites you want…. Then you better click here, friend…
