I used to be like you, destroying my hair with cheap conditioners and flat irons, lamenting split ends, and wondering how a thin, brittle mane could be so unruly. But all that changed when I discovered this one WEIRD trick for glossy, beautiful hair, and now, I’m worried nothing I ever do will measure up.
The thing is, this trick is unbelievably easy! In fact, it’s so easy I’m concerned that’s the only reason someone like me was able to discover it in the first place. One day I just thought, “What if…?” and sure enough, yup, strong, healthy hair without using any unnecessary chemicals, and now I’m convinced I may well lack what it takes to be anything but a one-time conduit for inspiration.
I saw results almost instantly! It’s like magic! But how does one possibly recapture that magic? It’s probably impossible.

Dry hair? Oily locks? Kinks or curls you’re sick of wrangling? This one weird trick could totally turn your life around! That said, it hasn’t for me, really. Yes, my glossy mane turn heads wherever I go, but personally, I don’t know what’s next. My husband has hobbies: building models, fly fishing, refurbishing old electronics. He’s so patient; he works and works until he’s totally satisfied, and then it’s on to the next project. It’s the work that delights him. Meanwhile, I wouldn’t even know where to start to discover another weird trick. I tried sitting down with a notebook and all I came away with was a headache.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m proud of my discovery, but how amazing a trick it really is almost mocks how little I actually did to discover it. Can I honestly hope to ever create anything that’s anywhere near as lasting and worthwhile as this one weird trick that’s outrageously effective and mind-blowingly simple? I truly believe that God gives each of us a moment to shine, but if this is mine, and that’s all I get, what kind of God is He?
And if all that wasn’t bad enough, now my stylist hates me.
