According to a statement released last night, the 75-year-old singer said that he is planning on sporting his lightly tousled, over-the-ear haircut for however much longer he has left on Earth, and then when the time comes, wearing it to his grave. Taking to his personal website, Sir Paul McCartney explained that there is a zero percent chance that he will change his hair before he dies, because he’s had it like that for so many years, and at this point he doesn’t want to go through the effort of trying something new.
“I can’t really think of a reason why I would want another hairstyle at this point, so I’m just going to keep this hairstyle until I’m dead,” said the legendary musician in the statement on his website. “If I wanted to change it, I’d have done it years ago, but I simply didn’t, and now I’m going to have this one forever, maybe even in the afterlife. It’s not hard to wash, and I don’t even have to trim it too often since it’s already pretty long, and truth be told, I like that.”
