Sadly, it looks like we’re all going to have to wait a while longer to watch Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle. The royal family announced this morning that the ceremony planned for this weekend will be postponed for at least three months to give the wedding band more time to learn how to play Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ On A Prayer.”
According to the family’s statement, the band can currently play most of “Livin’ On A Prayer,” but nothing less than a flawless rendition of the song will do for the royal wedding. The band’s singer is currently struggling to hit some of Jon Bon Jovi’s higher vocal notes and the bassist still hasn’t memorized the entire song, so the ceremony planned for this weekend is just going to have to wait until all the kinks are ironed out. It’s definitely a bummer, but you can’t blame the royal family for expecting perfection on such a special day. Here’s hoping the band starts nailing the tune ASAP—we don’t how much longer we can wait for this fairy-tale wedding to finally happen!
